Quotation from Moshe Dayan “If one considers oneself as the people of the Bible, one should possess the Biblical lands” — Aug. 10 1967

In a statement reported by the Jerusalem Post, caressing the Zionist dream of "keeping everything" after the Six Day War.

Author : Thematics :
" If one possesses the Bible, if one considers oneself as the people of the Bible, one should also possess the Biblical lands, those of the Judges and the Patriarchs, of Jerusalem, of Hebron, of Jericho and other places as well. I do not thereby set forth a political programme but, what is more important, the means of realizing the ancestral dream of a people. The foreigner must understand that, aside from ail the strategic importance for Israel of the Sinai, of the Golan Heights to the Straits of Tiran, and of the mountains to the west of the Jordan, these regions are situated at the heart of the Jewish history. "
