What makes it so hard is that, in this place, you have two peoples with their backs against the wall. To me, personally, I discovered that what happened to my Uncle David and Aunt Malka and to my cousin Daniel in Vilna [during the Holocaust] was very close to what was happening to us in Jerusalem. It was a hairsbreadth away, very close. "
