" It may interest you to know that some weeks ago the representatives of all the leading Jewish organisations met in conference to discuss the President’s proposal and other proposals which have been made to waive the immigration barrier... it was decided that no Jewish organisation would at this time, sponsor a bill which would in any way alter the present immigration laws.
