The quote, taken from a letter from Weizmann to his wife Vera, was given by Simha Flapan, in his book Zionism and the Palestinians. The exact quote would be "We have to deal with that [the Jews], as well as with the climate of Palestine, the stones of the Judean Hills, the Arabs and other difficult obstacles on our difficult path. "
