Numerous English-language websites reproduce this so-called quote, which was supposedly uttered by Chaim Weizmann, then President of the World Jewish Congress, in New York on December 3, 1942. The only accurate fact is that Weizmann was residing in New York at the time. As for the rest: absurdity of content, absence of precise circumstances, of contemporary testimonies, and of factual elements that could give this text the slightest hint of verisimilitude. It belongs to the industry of anti-Semitic inventions.
